Laser Interaction and new optical functionality - LASINOF

Optics are everywhere in our everyday life and include telescopes and high speed internet applications. Optics clusters are merging all over the world, as in Aquitaine, to support the growth of this field. The evolution of optics and laser technology is closely linked to material science evolution. Materials fabrication and material science are central to this development. An international education program intricately linked to research in this emerging field of photonics is needed to provide a fture workforce.
